Planet Peptide Review (2026): Is Planet Peptides Legit?

Four domains carry this name and one is the company: planetpeptide.com, singular, whose front page opens with "We have no affiliates or authorized resellers. Any other website claiming affiliation with our company is unauthorized."

The lookalike lists tirzepatide bulk packs at $1,300 and retatrutide at $1,050 to $1,100, numbers lifted from the real catalog, and claims EU delivery the real vendor does not offer. Treat it the way we treated the scam-flagged twin in the NextGen Peptides review: confirm the domain before you compare a single price.

The public storefront is gone. Since spring 2026 every page on planetpeptide.com resolves to an "Access Portal" that requires an account, a 21+ date of birth, and a certification under penalty of perjury that you are "a licensed research professional." Each product then asks for an entity type, from independent researcher to research institute.

The catalog we pulled on September 23, 2026 held 50 listings, 20 in stock. GLP-class compounds dominate: tirzepatide in 30, 60 and 120 mg vials, retatrutide in 20, 30 and 40 mg, semaglutide 10 mg and cagrilintide 10 mg, all suffixed "RUO." Repair compounds follow: BPC-157 10 mg, TB-500 10 mg, a BPC/TB/KPV/GHK-Cu blend and GHK-Cu 100 mg, then a bioregulator and nootropic shelf. No 5 mg vials exist; 10 mg is the floor.

Stock is the operational weak point. Semaglutide, TB-500, GHK-Cu, ipamorelin and the 20 and 30 mg retatrutide vials were all out of stock when we checked, a recurring Reddit complaint since February 2026.

Planet Peptide is cheap. A September 2025 r/Peptides thread was titled, verbatim, "Why is Planet Peptide so much cheaper?" These are the catalog prices the store returned on September 23, 2026.

On the repair peptides Planet Peptide sits inside the normal range once you adjust for 10 mg vials. On the GLP-class compounds it undercuts the ranges in our guides by three to five times. Cheap is a reason to demand paperwork. Compare any basket per milligram with the peptide cost calculator and against how much do peptides cost.

Every product page on planetpeptide.com carries the same two sentences: the peptide "undergoes thorough third-party testing to ensure its purity," and its composition is ">98% purity." No lab is named, no certificate is linked, and there is no COA library page. As of September 2026 we could not find one batch-specific certificate published anywhere on the site.

Buyers who ask do get something. Reviewers on PickPeptides and Peptide Critic report that support emailed a COA for their batch, sometimes the same day, and that most certificates were more than six months old. A certificate you must request and cannot check at a lab portal is a weak signal.

The independent data is mixed. Finnrick, which tests vials mailed in by buyers rather than samples the vendor picks, lists 62 Planet Peptide tests: 41 passed, 21 failed, under a standard of 99.5%+ purity and dose within ±35%. That is a 68% rating, rank 235 of 345 vendors. Tirzepatide ran 19 tests at 74%, retatrutide 15 at 68%, and CJC-1295 failed all four.

Why the paperwork is the whole question: when researchers test-purchased semaglutide from illegal online sellers, every vial delivered was classed as probable substandard or falsified, peptide content exceeded the label by 28.6% to 38.7%, and endotoxin was detected in every sample (Ashraf et al., J Med Internet Res, 2024, PMID 39509151). Overfill is a dosing error you cannot see. Synthetic peptides also carry process impurities, deletion sequences and epimers, that only LC-MS characterization catches (Lian et al., J Am Soc Mass Spectrom, 2021, PMID 34110145), and those impurities can change a peptide's immunogenicity, which is why FDA guidance sets thresholds for them (Roberts et al., Front Pharmacol, 2024, PMID 39185315).

A purity percentage on a PDF covers none of that. Before you order, run the checks from the Nexaph Peptides review:

1. 1.Email for a current batch COA before paying: test date, lab name, report number.
2. 2.Reject a certificate older than 90 days or one whose lot will not match your vial.
3. 3.Demand HPLC purity and mass-spec identity. A purity figure alone is half a certificate.
4. 4.Ask the lab to confirm the report. A vendor that names no lab cannot pass this step.

Shipping is the vendor's strongest documented feature. Weekday orders ship the next business day by FedEx, UPS or USPS with tracking: $15 express (2 to 8 business days), $50 overnight, free express over $300, signature required above that amount. Most buyer reports match; a minority describe three-week delays. No international option is offered.

Payment is the part to read twice. Checkout exposes two gateways, both pay-by-bank connectors that debit a linked US bank account by ACH, and the terms make e-check/ACH payments payable to NEOS BIO, LLC. The terms mention card charges, but no card gateway was active when we looked, and a March 2026 Reddit comment describes the vendor "requiring you make an account and link your bank account." ACH has no chargeback; if a vial never arrives, your bank will not claw the money back.

Returns are where sources disagree. The vendor's policy page promises a 30-day money-back guarantee on unopened product, minus shipping, pre-approved by email. Third-party review sites call the policy "all sales are final." Screenshot the page at checkout, because one of those statements is out of date.

We pulled every Reddit submission naming the vendor through a public archive: roughly 35 distinct threads from March 2024 to September 2026, most with zero to three replies. Four carry the discussion:

• "Planet Peptide legit or scam?" r/Peptidesource, August 2024, 39 comments. Replies largely positive on product.
• "Planet Peptides" r/Retatrutide, November 2025, 31 comments. One buyer suspected saline after four weeks; most replies said the dose was still sub-threshold, two alleged relabeled gray-market stock.
• "Why is Planet Peptide so much cheaper?" r/Peptides, September 2025, 9 comments. Split between "relabeled Chinese stock" and "check Finnrick."
• "Is Planet peptide reputable?" r/Peptidesource, January 2026, 10 comments. Two buyers reported good product; one called it "probably the lowest non grey market price out there."

Aggregators cluster mid-scale: PickPeptides 3.9 of 5 across 25 reviews, Peptide Critic 3.3 of 5 across 6, BestPeptidesCompanies 3.8 of 5 without ordering. Positives: fast dispatch, responsive email, price. Negatives: stale COAs, stock-outs, and recent silence on replacement requests.

Trustpilot is the outlier: the planetpeptide.com profile now reads "This profile has been removed. The business you're trying to find goes against our guidelines," with no reason published. Red flags:

• No published COAs and no named lab. "Third-party tested" on every page with nothing you can check behind it.
• 21 of 62 community tests failed, including all four CJC-1295 samples.
• Bank-transfer-only checkout. ACH removes chargeback protection.
• Trustpilot profile removed, reason unpublished.
• Conflicting return policies between the vendor page and third-party descriptions.
• GLP-class "RUO" listings. The FDA's page on unapproved GLP-1 drugs says it has warned sellers labeling products "for research purposes" while shipping to consumers, and that retatrutide cannot legally be compounded.
• An active lookalike domain registered in July 2026 using the company's own address.

Green flags:

• A verifiable legal entity and street address in Bradenton, Florida.
• Next-day dispatch with tracking, confirmed by most buyer reports.
• A written shipping and refund policy, however contested.
• COAs available on request, even if stale.
• Prices at the bottom of the domestic market for buyers who will test independently.

Ipamorelin, GHRP-2, GHRP-6 and kisspeptin-10 also sit on the FDA's Category 2 list of compounding substances flagged for safety risk; research vendors sit outside that framework, so nobody in the chain is required to test.

The verdict: a legitimate operating vendor with a documentation problem. It ships fast and charges less than almost anyone domestic, shows no lab report you can verify, and the one independent dataset we found says a third of community-tested vials missed spec.
